We recently joined forces with Media Outlaws at the 24:1 Cinema in Pagedale supporting Beyond Housing and their transformative initiative, “Once and For All.” Engaging with projects like these is not just a part of our work; it’s an opportunity to amplify crucial messages and contribute to meaningful change.
Staging Once And For All
The 24:1 Cinema, nestled in the heart of Pagedale, provided a unique backdrop for this endeavor. As the curtains rose, the cinematic atmosphere blended seamlessly with the noble cause at hand. Beyond Housing’s “Once and For All” project, which aims to address pressing community issues, found an expressive platform in the form of this broadcast. The convergence of art and activism in such a vibrant space showcased the power of collaboration and creativity.
The Broadcast Experience
The broadcast, orchestrated by the skilled team at Media Outlaws, was more than just a technical endeavor. It was a carefully curated experience designed to convey the heart of Beyond Housing’s mission. Through a captivating mix of visuals, interviews, and narratives, we sought to weave a compelling story that would resonate with the audience. Every frame, every word spoken, was aimed at fostering understanding and empathy for the challenges faced by the community.
Speakers and Voices
Speakers and Voices: The event was enriched by the voices of key figures passionately involved in the “Once and For All” initiative. Chris Krehmeyer, President and CEO of Beyond Housing, brought insight into the organization’s vision, while Orvin Kimbrough, Chairman and CEO of Midwest BankCentre, shared perspectives on the financial aspects of community development. The spiritual dimension was explored by Ken and Beverly Jenkins, Pastors of Refuge & Restoration Church, offering a holistic approach to the challenges faced. The discussion was skillfully moderated by Jarrett Medlin, Editor-in-Chief of St. Louis Magazine, ensuring a thoughtful and dynamic exploration of the project’s nuances.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Integral to the success of the broadcast were the cutting-edge technologies employed in capturing and conveying the event. Our commitment to delivering a high-quality production led us to utilize state-of-the-art equipment. All speakers were equipped with Rode Wireless Go II microphones, providing unparalleled versatility in staging events like these.
The wireless microphones, featuring Heil RC35 heads, hail from Heil Sound, a locally-based microphone company we hold in high regard. Beyond enhancing our technical capabilities, this choice reflects our dedication to supporting local vendors.
The Zoom L20 recording console served as the command center, seamlessly mixing and recording the event. This advanced technology allowed us to capture the essence of the discussions with precision. Additionally, our choice of Black Magic Cinema cameras and the ATEM Mini Extreme video switcher ensured that the visual narrative was as impactful as the spoken words. These technological innovations not only elevate the production quality but also contribute to the immersive experience for our audience.
Once and For All: Impact and Beyond
The true measure of success for such endeavors lies in the impact they generate. Beyond the immediate broadcast, the goal is to spark conversations, ignite passions, and prompt actions that contribute to the betterment of the community. As we reflect on this experience, we are not just content creators; we are contributors to a broader narrative of positive change.
In the realm where media meets activism, the broadcast at the 24:1 Cinema stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when storytelling converges with a noble cause. Beyond Housing’s “Once and For All” project has found a voice, and we are honored to have played a part in amplifying it. This event was not just a broadcast; it was a celebration of community, collaboration, and the potential for transformative change. We look forward to future endeavors where we can continue to lend our support to causes that matter, armed with the latest in technological innovation.
