Josh Van Hoorebeke, known by his producer name “Joshie,” is a multi-talented music producer and audio engineer based in St. Louis, Missouri. Since diving into full-time music production in 2017, Josh has made waves in the industry, drawing from a diverse musical background that spans indie rock, hardcore metal, and punk rock. Before transitioning into production, Josh spent years touring across the United States, Canada, and Europe, playing drums with notable bands such as American Wrestlers, Everything Went Black, and Breakmouth Annie, as well as working as a session musician for bands nationwide.

Josh’s productions are a unique blend of live instrumentation and electronic elements. He gravitates towards vintage synths, including the Juno 106 and Yamaha DX7, but is equally comfortable working with real instruments like guitar, bass, and drums. His approach to beat-making is flexible, incorporating everything from sample-based techniques to live instrumentation, allowing him to craft a sound that reflects his wide-ranging musical influences.
